One of the things that I tell the students is “A Legacy is not something you leave when you die.  A legacy should be something you leave every time you walk out of any room.”  At NSLC, we like to have the students take a look at the Legacy they wish to leave in the world and begin that journey of fulfilling that now versus waiting until some future time in their life.  Now more than ever, we are relying on our youth to start impacting the future now.  You often hear “it’s never too late.”  In that same vain we say “It’s Never Too Early.”  A difference can be made in a moment and that moment is a first step leaving a legacy now.
